It’s so good to meet you. I’m Denesa Chan (she/they), an award-winning multi-creative performer, nature photographer, designer, and digital storyteller with expertise in using embodied empathy to connect my collaborators with their dream audience.

For small business owners, I specialize in authentic visual and written branding, depth marketing, and a client-centered approach to wholistic business development that provides ease, empowerment, and abundance.

As an actor, singer, and dancer, I dive deep into the heart of the story to bring it to life with nuance, heart, curiosity, power, and a unique delightful vibrancy.
As a queer, neurodiverse, mixed-race Chinese-American from a Los Angeles Latinx community who immigrated to Aotearoa New Zealand and is now bi-hemispheric (Say that three times fast!), I'm drawn to outsider stories, especially dramadies with gravitas and humor. Major bonus points if they’re also Sci-Fi/Fantasies and/or TTRPGs. Raised among love and play in gang territory, I've seen some of the best and worst of humanity, which lit a fire in my belly to help make our world more inclusive by telling diverse stories by, with, and for diverse humans.
Often a dweller of liminal spaces and edge habitats, I'm drawn to themes of unlikely connection, transformation, empowerment, and seeing the majestic in the mundane through my work as a critically-acclaimed/award-winning actor/dancer/singer, film producer, nature photographer/cinematographer, writer/script-consultant, and mindful movement teacher. I am so grateful to have performed internationally on 5 continents. My work has been seen on the SyFy channel, ABC, ABC Family, CBS, MTV’s CMT, in national and international ad campaigns, in several award-winning films and at over 100 film festivals worldwide.
Being a lifelong working artist means being a lifelong small business owner. I am thrilled to have helped other creatives, psychotherapists, and solopreneurs create abundance by connecting them with their dream clients and creating ease-full sustainable systems and structures that help their gifts reach exponentially more of their specific people.
As a storyteller, visual artist and producer, I have a unique ability to see the essence of my clients’ gifts, understand the core of their dream audience, and craft the stories, images and structures that bring them together. I bring 15 plus years of expertise in wholistic business consulting, visual/written branding, digital and print marketing, web design, graphic design, and copywriting. I am currently accepting a limited number of incredibly cherished clients.
Some of my most meaningful experiences include working with unhoused war refugee children in Guatemala, saving lives in an armed conflict in the jungles of Mexico, volunteering at a Rape Crisis Center, photographing lava from an open helicopter, creating timelapses of the Aurora Borealis in the Arctic Winter, swimming with and filming Humpback whales for an award-winning documentary, photographing the world’s rarest penguins, and who can forget acting under a pile of live biting mealworms poured head to toe?
